August Update

August is a crazy month around here. It's the last real month of summer and so people around here try to cram in as much fun as they can. Keeley and I apologize in advance because we are sure that we'll fall behind on blog reading this month. There's just so much going on!

In fact, I've already fallen a little behind on Keeley's blog. He got groomed last week and there was just no time to blog about it until now. Here's his BEFORE picture:
And here's what Keeley looks like now that he's all cleaned up and trimmed. AFTER:He's one lean, clean, Keeley machine! I like that I can see his gorgeous eyes better but overall, I prefer Keeley a little scruffy. This short haircut is good for the hot weather though.

Also, Keeley went to see his vet, Dr. Katie, yesterday because his tummy problems continue. On Thursday, Keeley just decided to stop eating. I'd offer him liver and hamburger and he would just turn his head away and look sad. On Friday morning when I told him I had to go to work, he gave me this look that would just break your heart and so I knew he was feeling pretty bad.

Who knows when but he must have eaten something bad. I don't know how this little pup manages to get into so many bad things because I'm like constantly watching him when we're outside. And inside, we're very careful not to leave anything bad that he could possibly get into around. Yet somehow he still manages to make himself sick.

Anyhow, the vet gave us some anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea medication. He's still not 100% but Keeley does seem to be feeling better today. (Although, a bit gassy still!)
