Keeley has been feeling a little neglected lately. On Wednesday, his grandma and I left him at home while we went to a sneak preview of the new Harley Davidson Museum that opens here next month. On Thursday, I left him at home while I went to see Gnarls Barkley. On Friday, his grandma left him at home while she went to the horse races.
We're trying to make it up to him today. We've already taken a 3 mile walk around Lake Park and his grandma got him a new bandana from Target. He's modeling the bandana in these pictures.
It's hot (and humid) and Keeley doesn't like hot weather. We've been napping in the air conditioning but every once in a while, Keeley likes to go outside and sun his buns for about 15 minutes.
The fireworks season has begun. Fortunately, Keeley didn't seem to notice the first couple of events. Maybe he is over that fear now. That would be odd though since he's still very scared of thunder.
Keeley found this branch that had fallen into his yard and so he decided to give it a taste.
There was a big old daddy long legs spider crawling around on Keeley's body so he had to roll around in the grass to get it off him.
We came back inside and I think we're going to do some more napping now.

We love your new bandana, Keeley! I HATE thunder too AND fireworks! I sure wish the 4th of July was behind us! UGH!

Keeley I love your new bandana ! You look fantastic. I hate fireworks and thunder. Véronique puts me a t-shirts when the thunder is coming and then I feel a little better.... you should try.

Please tell me what type of dog Keeley is. Your see this is incredible! I have a dog I am in love with, her name is Keeley she looks exactly like Keeley except she is all black and is about half the size. She is the sweetest dog I've ever had and is also afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. She hides in her own special closet when they come.
