It's actually 2 dog exercise areas. There's a 3 acre area for small dogs that are 15 inches and smaller. And there's an 11 acre area for larger dogs. Both are fully fenced (which is a must when you have a terrier).
Keeley had fun exploring the new park. He met a Jack Russell named Max. They moused around together for a while and almost caught some little critter that was hiding in a pile of dead branches. Keeley also got to see some people riding horses pass by on the other side of the fence. All together he had a pretty great time.
Unfortunately, when we were getting into the car to leave, I noticed that Keeley was covered in burrs. When we got home we had to spend a lot of time removing them one by one. That's never fun.
Right now, Keeley's napping on the floor next to me while I'm computing. I don't know what he ate but his farts are nearly killing me! I had to open a window to get some fresh air.

What a great dog area! 11 acres to run and play, that is pawsome! We don't have anything that big in Chicago. I'm glad you had so much fun playing. I understand about the burrs. I get them all the time, and it hurts getting them pulled, brushed and cut out. No fun. Sorry about the farts. he he he! I get them all the time, must be a terrier thing.

Great idea having an enclosed dog park. Our leash free area is pathetic. Infact we don't use it because it's open to the National Park and we'd just run off.
Our pinkies nearly die from our gas attacks. They have to put up with 4 of us hee hee.

Hey Keeley, sounds like a pawsome dog run. I hate burrs too especially when they get in my beard. J x
